As a member of our organization, families can expect a comprehensive program tailored to the development and growth of their children, from kindergarten through sixth grade. Our football teams and cheer squads provide a dynamic and inclusive environment where young athletes can BE GREAT both on and off the field.

Here's what you can anticipate as part of the Anderson Township Wildcats family:

1. Game Day Ready: All game day uniforms are provided, ensuring every player and cheerleader takes the field with pride. Additionally, each participant receives an exclusive all-black alternate City/Township style uniform, with their name on the back, which they can keep at the end of the season.
2. Exciting Game Days: Games are scheduled on weekends, either Saturday or Sunday, offering families a chance to come together and support their young athletes. Home games are hosted at renowned Turpin and Anderson High Schools, providing a thrilling atmosphere for players and spectators alike.
3. Expert Coaching and Practice: Our private non-profit organization is committed to excellence in coaching and player development. Practices are held 2-3 times a week, 3-4 for the 5^th and 6^th graders, with schedules determined by our experienced head coaches. Sessions typically last around 1-2 hours and are conducted at various practice fields within the district.
4. Season Timeline: The season officially kicks off on July 8th with practices, leading up to game days starting on August 17th. Postseason will officially start October 20^th and the last week for Championship Games will be November 3^rd.
5. Cheerleading Excellence: Cheer practice is scheduled once a week, starting June 18th, at a designated field within the district. We're also exploring indoor options for those rainy summer days to ensure consistent training and preparation.
6. Priority on Safety: At Anderson Township Wildcats, safety is paramount. Our coaches undergo rigorous training in proper tackling techniques and concussion protocols, prioritizing the well-being of our players above all else. Two coaches per team are trained in CPR to ensure highest level of safety for all athletes.
7. Equipment: All necessary equipment, including helmets, shoulder pads, and pants, to ensure our players are properly protected is provided.
8. Improvement: To ensure every child has a chance to improve and develop their skills, we have implemented a 6-play minimum rule, guaranteeing each player meaningful time on the field during games.
