Cheer FAQ

When is practice?
All teams will practice on a common night usually Tuesday or Thursday 6-8PM.  Then there may be a second night but that is up to the individual coach.  They will get with the parents.

Where is practice?
Depending on the grade level either Nagel or Ayer

When does the season start and end?
We start practices the last week of July /first week of August and runs through October.

Where are our games at?
We travel to Sycamore, Sharonville, Little Miami, Lakota, Mason, Indian Hill, Loveland, Milford and our home games are at Anderson and Turpin.

What days and times are the games?
For the most part 1st grade – 3rd grade will play on Saturday and 4th – 6th usually plays on Sundays.  The start times are as early as 11:30am and as late as 5:30pm.  With the exception of the bowl games and those are played on Sunday and start as early as 9:00am and run through 8:00PM.

When will the schedule be available?
We do not make the schedule the CYFL does.  They usually are not available until 2-3 weeks prior to the first game.  Anderson Cheerleading has no control of the schedule but the CYFL makes every effort to get it out as soon as possible.

What are the fees?
There is a $35.00 registration fee, and an addition $65 participation fee for grades 1st – 3rd,  $85 participation fee for grades 4th – 6th.   THERE IS NO REQUIRED FUNDRAISING   Then the parents pay for the shoes, socks, turtleneck, and wind suite (which the girls keep).  The participation fee and the supply fees are due sometime in June/ July. We usually do a camp with the local high school and that runs about $25.00 and is paid to the school.  If your team does a competition that is a slight fee but that is optional.

Attendance is important.  Please make sure that your daughter can commit to practices and games as it is unfair to the team to have girls not show up

COACHES:  Our coaches are all volunteers and we are always looking for helpers.  If you are interested please email Patty at AYCCHEER1@GMAIL.COM.
